I don't know if this subject has been done to death already, but.
Surely if you can't get to a game, why isn't it possible to buy the FULL game, even say days later. I am guessing that they are all recorded by somebody, even the club itself, as I would be shocked if the games weren't recorded.
Is it to do with Broadcast rites or some other obstacle. Quite happy to pay for the live game when it was available
Listening isn't the same as we all know. Today being a prime example when stuck to the radio only.
Extra income all round I would have thought.

I do appreciate that we have highlights every game now published on YouTube along with Matchday moments, but I do feel the highlights could be improved, we have seen Woking and Altrincham highlights, they are 15 mins long and show a decent chunk of the action, our Highlights are 5-7 mins long and mainly only stick to the goals.
Things must be going well if we are moaning about how the highlights could be better!

Just talking about HIGHlights is a massive improvement.

Appreciate the point, but could it be the case that our highlights are currently sticking to the goals because there's that bloody many of them?

The rights of all National League games belong to BT, I don't know if they prevent the full game being shown. As for someone filming Town's games, all homes games are filmed by the crew that have been doing it for many years now with John Moore's commentary. As for away games, as someone who has many of the old highlights tapes and DVDs I know that even in the Football League some clubs didn't allow our film crew to film away games so in the National League some of the smaller clubs may not have the facilities to let our team film the game so you would reliant on the home team allowing the full viewing of the game and if that was allowed I doubt GTFC would get any money for that. With regard to the highlights, in the EFL they were provided by company that films the games for SKY and Quest, now we are in the National League I assume the quality and length of the home highlights are down to the new media team at the club.

I remember early in the season (probably pre-season) someone complaining that the the club was putting up a recording of the whole game every week. This was on the grounds that it was hard work finding the ‘best bits’. All he wanted apparently was the goals and major incidents. I recall groaning inwardly and hoping that the club didn’t take this to represent the majority view. Well, as it’s turned out, we are certainly getting briefer highlights than some clubs are offering as suggested above. The ‘Matchday Moments’ certainly supplement these nicely although personally I don’t think these are quite the works of art that they used to be. To see what I mean, look on YouTube at the one for Mansfield away shortly after Holloway was appointed.

Yeah, it's a bit annoying, especially as I paid for those turgid games last year and sat through all the Saturday games. I enjoy watching the goals but it's not the same when you know the score. There's no fear in your belly when you are 3-2 down at home with minutes to go and you finally see a class Hunt free kick to win us the game. If BT put their highlights on the next morning, I'd consider holding off until I wake up. On the flipside, we are a bit spoilt compared to days gone by. I used to travel across a city in Mexico to get the paper to see a paragraph about the Town games. (We were in the old second tier - whatever it was called then). That was until the peso crashed and I couldn't afford the paper anymore. I'd furtively approach the kiosk and when the seller was serving someone, I'd open the back page and get a quick shufty at the Grimsby write up, before scarpering. In those days, we'd be happy with the score. I also remember being at a cup final in the Gambia and we had a transistor radio pressed to our ear. Town won 5-0 against someone. I got some funny looks cheering when nothing was happening on the pitch.
