The only line-up it could have been. The team is picking itself at the minute.

Will Efete get an auto recall?

Sears came in and has done a steady job, but Efete offers the more attacking side and a goal scoring option. Just my view.

Just hope that Max Wright can stop getting niggles - perhaps needing a more personal muscle conditioning programme and less normal training?

Think that Sears is a all round defender, probably more physical and will defend to the hilt with abit of added extra height. Efete has a traction engine getting up and down the pitch and he has chipped in already with a few goals.

I think Sears has given PH a headache as he's come in and been brilliant. The tighter matches may see us line up with Sears less cautious and then the teams we are favourites he will choose Efete.

Who’s the ‘expert summariser’?

Their number 17 is being allowed to run riot with the ball Fox and Hunt don’t seem to know who’s picking him up.

Nothing is clicking. Believe or not Hunt is having a stinker at the moment

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Doesn’t it make a refreshing change listening to Town knowing we are in a game instead of being outplayed by the opposition (like we’ve been used too in the past)

If Sears can get Soussa more into the game we’ll get behind them more than we have, overall though felt like a half of 2 halves, they started really well but we kind of grew into it.

Could have gone 1 up when??

We have made it to ht without conceding, if Hurst sorts the midfield a bit we should be okay.

Fans a bit quiet, we need something to shout about.

Not many teams will get the full 3 points at Woking this season, they’re a good team at this level, with us getting 3 points  against Altrincham a draw here would be a decent result for Town, I’m hoping for 3 points today but 4 out of 6 would be a decent return and keep the run going. UTM

Unconvinced that Woking are any good. We're looking a bit languid but far more threatening than them. Just seem to be a physical, direct side who look reliant on set pieces to make things happen. I want to see a bit more pressing from McAtee in the final 3rd, he's playing like he can only be arsed when he's got the ball

I hope Harrogate have invested in a scoreboard that goes to double figures.   They are halfway there already.

Woking have a team of big bruisers that will be a chore to play against for most teams this season. We've been able to outplay most sides who came to play football against us but this is quite a different game, I'd say Woking were the side I was least looking forward to in this run of games as they've caused problems for a lot of teams.

As someone else said, I'd be happy with a draw today. 4 points from today and Alty looked good Tuesday morning! Not that it would surprise me if we won. If we come out 2nd half like we did at Alty then 3 points could be on the cards.

Anyone know if Scunny are having their half-time team talk in the centre circle?

Watching Bromley game on BT, they are really average but 2 up from 2 fantastic finishes but created from pure luck of rebounds etc. dropping for them, best bit they are showing goals from the other games with higher teams as they go in, so look forward to seeing us score in the 2nd half

Sounded on the commentary that Clifton had a chance of scoring, just saying.

I'm here, ye not a bad chance but wouldn't say he should have scored

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

FFS. Just gone to the loo. Sky app pings 1-0 Town Hunt.
WTF 😳

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Best result of the season so far for me. Six points from Alty and Woking away is absolutely outstanding - what a week it’s been and a brilliant response to losing at Bromley.

Oh, and Scunny getting slapped 6-1, 3 points adrift at the bottom of League Two. I think I’ll leave this here…

3 points from a tough game coming after a run of games back to back is a fantastic result. Probably wouldn't have taken a chance like that last season, you can see the confidence in the team to just take the shot from outside of the box when last season we'd still be passing it around in the box and trying to walk it in.

Clifton looked up, saw his chance and got a good shot away and his reward. Good play and pass to make the goal.

We are the real deal.

We would all have accepted 2 points from these last two games as ok. We would have been pleased with 3. Delighted with 4.

But 6?

Fantastic. We are going to take some catching.

'I walked in the dressing room. The window was open and I thought that a sea fret had got in. Then I saw smoke billowing from a pipe in the corner of the room...it was my centre-forward. Great result. The pace of the past weeks has been very demanding. Fixtures thick and fast.. The travelling in itself is asking a lot of the players. Two trips to London in four days, I wonder if we would be unbeaten still if the Bromley game had been played on the opening day of the season. Looking forward to getting them back to BP after Woodman's comments. He knew very well he was insulting GT when he spoke that rubbish. He probably hasn't got over Kevin Donovan beating him in the 1998 Play-Off final.

Quoted from RonMariner
We are the real deal.

We would all have accepted 2 points from these last two games as ok. We would have been pleased with 3. Delighted with 4.

But 6?

Fantastic. We are going to take some catching.

It’s looking very good. Fingers and everything crossed

Been craving a Hurst 1-0 away win all season!

One of our more important wins so far, keeps the momentum going into the 2 week break.

Max only back in full training on Wednesday. What an impact player he is. Maybe he is best deployed as a super sub, to come on in the last 20 minutes to stretch the opposition when they are flagging?

Absolutely over the moon with that, like a lot of people, would have been happy with 4 points over the last 2 fixtures, as both teams we have faced have been in excellent form. I’ve said it before, but I believe we need to keep Towler and Hunt beyond January, and I believe both parent clubs would strongly consider this, as it would give the 2 youngsters great confidence winning a title/getting promoted. Let’s hope they see it the way I do!
Well done boys, UTM!

Have to admit I was a tad disappointed to only draw at Maidenhead, given their position and results this season, but the last two away games have more than made up for it.

10 points from the last 5 games, including 4 away is not too shabby at all.

All things considered…..,that was a huge and really impressive result.
A point would have been great, but absolutely f@cking well done on 3  to players, manager, staff and fans. Safe journey back everyone.

Credit to Hurst, he got the substitutions right this time. Kept an attacking edge which paid of with Max's assist.

I personally think Hurst has really evolved as a manager in several tactical and communication related aspects. The experience he’s had since he left us has really brought him on.
