Well done to the winners, I have included Dicko995 prediction, but if high scores are continuing to be use i.e  5, 6 nils every week (Dicko995) then i'll have no alternative but to cap the total scorers up to a maximum of 3.

When did having multiple goalscorers ever get you 3 points on a Saturday?

We have goalscorers throughout the team, so because i got it correct i get told off, its no good me predicting a low score when i know we can score goals, thats what 'prediction' is all about. I,ll put 0-0 for tuesday and get no points then.

No mate thats not what i was getting at, there is only you who keeps predicting 4,5,6 nils, i dont want to not let you do that but when we are getting a point for each named scorer then its unfair on others.  All i'm saying is be a bit realistic thats all.  There is obviously a reason why PP only did the scorer points if all are named.

So what I should predict every game is 15-0 to town and name 15 different scorers, a crafty way of ensuring points every game,so long as town score!

You dont need to do that tho Gaffer as you have already scored 6 pts so far and sit 20th in the table.

You are right mezza  -  some people are not entering this in the right spirit of the game.

Decades ago I played in what then was know as club matches, fun and enjoyable Saturdays, if you won great and if you lost, so what. Then somebody thought it would be great to have a league, and the fun and enjoyability stopped; the opposition became the foe.

What we have with Meza is a bit of fun, so enjoy it, don't take it seriously. I'm top this week, next month I'll be lower, so what. Chill out lads and be thankful Meza is doing this because without him doing it there would be nothing. As the saying goes 'you don't know what you have till it's gone'.

Problem is DB i'm as competitive as they come, thats right fella, couldn't give 2 hoots in you land on my mayfair with 4 hotels on and you only have a £5 in the bank lol.  Yeah its meant to be fun but i dont want to ruin it for the regulars that have been playing it for years.  I changed the scorers cos when PP did it few seasons back i'd get 1 of the scorers but was gutted i didn't get anything for it.  But then we have to careful not to take the pisz and predict fairly otherwise it'll mean a change to the format.

Meza, I predicted* 6-0 (!) with Taylor2, McAtee2, Fox & Waterfall as scorers. Was expecting 5 points (1 for correct score, 4 correct goalscorers) but got 4.

Gaffer is right, though, with only 1 point for the correct score and 1 point for each named scorer (irrespective of whether the scoreline is correct) it makes
sense to predict 15-0 every match...which would make the whole "prediction" league a complete nonsense.

Not having a go at you, Meza - you're doing one of those jobs where you get taken for granted when everything works well and get moaned at if they don't.
But the current point-scoring rules are not sensible.
