He may just have been rested as a precaution, so let's not get too carried away....

Just watched that goal he scored , and watched him after it, he didnt show any signs of injury that i could spot after it unless he hid it well

It wasn't as if he had to stretch or turn sharply was it?

After that run and finish I’d like to see a lot more of him .
Tired defences would hate to see him warming up with 20 minutes to go

Some players bodies struggle with playing full time at a pro level. Scannell is another one, wouldn't be playing for us if he remained injury free but struggled with injuries his entire career starting at 18 when he moved into the professional game with a knee injury. Since then constant struggles with knees and groin injuries, Michael Reddy again played for us because of injury issues holding him back, got a couple of seasons out of him before his various injuries forced him to retire.

All of them are pacey players, it seems like pace and having that ability to create a burst of speed can leave some players injury prone. Feel for the lad, hope we can find some way of managing the issues he's been having to get him more game time.

Looking at his build he might be hypermobile which means lax ligaments and more stress on the tendon insertion to the muscle to hold the lax joint in place.
