Obviously it’s impossible to prove either way but we’ve beaten 3 non league teams (one of which are part timers). That’s a long way from beating half decent league 2 clubs. The squad last season was one of the worst I’ve seen, we’ve definitely improved but perhaps an exaggeration to say we would hold our own in league 2.

It certainly don't this it is hyperbole or an exaggeration. We have improved in probably 8 or 9 positions. Only Meyanese and Matete could nail a place in this side.

Fair point. Would add Pollock, Windsor and Edwards to that list as well but my point was really that we’ve improved from a very low base!

Hewitt as central defender was playing even better than meyanese so I'd have him in there too. I'd also pick hendrie as right back over efette. All just opinions though.

In the dn35 podcast they mentioned the NL not being much 9f a drop from league 2 but the 2 ex professionals they were interviewing disagreed.
