I was talking to Diddy Gilbert about this match and he is expecting one hell of a party!!!

Said he won’t be turning out to play but is looking forward to the day.

Some absolute names on there…I know Matt has been working his bollcoks off for well over a year for this event.

Tony Rees needs to play to simply do the flick…worth the entrance fee alone…

What a great effort by Matt and whoever helped him organise this. Some great Mariners legends, in there. Just a slight disappointment of no mention of Super Clive but well worth a fiver of anyone's money and I really hope this event is well supported.

I'm sure Matt and Macca tried to get Super Clive. Massive well done respect to them both for this. Absolutely gutted I can't be up in Grimsby for it. I will be donating/buying £20 worth of tickets (is it £5 each?) so if anyone is or knows of anyone who'd love to go but are genuinely really struggling for cash then message me!

Outstanding!!!  Well done to all concerned.

Very tempted to drive the 200 miles.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Do it, Matt had worked his bollcoks off to organise this, among the many other things he’s organised to raise such large sums of cash for his charity…

Tickets Bought

Matt’s been kind of enough to allow my brother to lead the teams out. They are old school friends and my brother has downsyndrome so he will be ecstatic

It’ll be a great day, Matt should be very proud

I am sure Super Clives name was on one of the first bits of artwork that went out for this? I think id actually get goosebumps seeing him on the BP pitch again, but saying that the same goes for the likes of Jack Lester, Alan Pouton, Livo, Grovesy, Macca, Cockers, Gilbert etc etc. Absolutely gutted Il be stuck at Doncaster racecourse loading out a stage from a Jess Glynne gig until about 6 pm so won't be able to come

Massive respect to Matt & Macca

Clive Mendonca was certainly one of the "signings" announced by Broadley FC but all signings were made subject to their availability, like I do believe Mendonca works in a car factory, or he certainly used to, maybe he was hoping he could get the day off work for this day but he was unable to?

Is it too late to get Ivano and his Italian mates over?

Chris Grocock? Local solicitor I think.

No Lund or Wilkinson?
