According to Mansfield Twitter who uploaded a few pics the game took place on their training ground

It was on the Town site that the game would be played at their training ground.

By saying he wasn't booked in his last 18 games of last season I was complimenting him. Christ

Highlights up on YouTube:

https://youtu.be/BIyiSMob44M

Wright's pace is pretty impressive at 2.20

Fox looks very solid, calm and composed with a good range of passing - think he'll be an important player and that Hurst will have a headache for CM selection.

Grant's talent is clear to see - v good on the ball and calm with good awareness. Though looks slightly unfit / out of shape. If he gets into good condition will be a very good player at this level.

Sears looked solid from what little you could see - wins a good header well and looks strong.

Good positioning from souza and we'll finished. Looks an exciting player that can dribble (4.20) - but we all know this from his highlights reel.

Bring on sat.

I know its only preseason blah blah blah, but I was pretty impressed with some of that football. Lots of positives even from that short video.

I thought so too. It showed what we have got - solid defence, some creative midfield and players prepared to put a foot it. In fact we looked far more like a league side than they did.

But it highlights as well that we desperately need a more direct approach to goal in the area and to push the boat out to get a quality player up there to finish off all that good approach work.
