I'll try to sneak in with a can of 3 in1.

I wouldn't, it would look too much like a flask and....oh wait, new regime, you'll probably be alright... 😉

'I walked in the dressing room. The window was open and I thought that a sea fret had got in. Then I saw smoke billowing from a pipe in the corner of the room...it was my centre-forward. He looked seven stone wet through. He went on to score thirty-odd goals that season.' Lawrie McMenemy on encountering the legend that was Matt Tees.

What is clear from those highlights is that he's comfortable with both feet.

He looks a bit raw at the moment but can certainly get stuck in. Should improve vastly if playing alongside an experienced centre back. I can see Hurst's intentions with the future in mind.  Good signing.

Nice to read that both signings are "decent prospects" from the respective forums than the usual  "I would drive him up there myself" we usually get.

He should have the pace to cover Pearson. He wants to improve his positioning and Pearson is a good talker on the pitch. We've also got 2 former full backs on the coaching staff plus Doig who was a centre half.

And if he's on the treatment table, our physio was a defender too!

If you can have faith in Hurst on anything, it has to be signing defenders. Yeah, you can point to the odd Jamal Fyfield and his old favourite Danny Parslow, but even the world’s top managers have the odd duff signing in their locker.

In his time with us previously he signed Shaun Pearson, Nathan Pond, Conor Townsend (twice), Ian Miller, Tom Naylor, Carl Magnay, Toto Nsiala, Josh Gowling, Richard Tait and Danny Andrew - and there are quite a few honourable mentions missing from that list too.

His success record with defenders, many of whom arrived with relatively little fanfare, is remarkable.

Reminds me of Nsiala
Tall, Agile, Fast, and an all round good defender.

Nsiala wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but if he's even half the player he is, then we've got a good player on our hands
