You could say literally any time between June and late August that a signing might be coming soon and you'd usually be right.

i thought the reason Davis moved was because he wanted to be closer to his home in the North West? Would be more than good enough for non league footie

Might be doing an interview like they did with John Macca. I think they said there would be more interviews with ex-players in the pipeline.

He didn't move. He was pushed. Ollie released him, and several others, at the end of the 19/20 season as part of the now imfamous cost cutting exercise that went oh so well. It was another 2.5 months until Morecambe signed him.

There were rumours long before then that he wanted to be back in the North West.

Seen someone say he's really good mates with Hendrie on here or Twitter. Maybe Hendrie is holding out until there is a car school?
