"A fantastic advertising opportunity for you with the sponsorship of the kit of your favourite GTFC player/management team member for the season. Each kit sponsorship includes programme, scoreboard and website advertisement and exposure each game. Kit sponsors will also be presented by a signed shirt by their selected player on the Blundell Park pitch at a game of their choice."

From all of the accoutrements that are included in the package, we could forego the programmes unless anyone specifically wanted them. The advertising and exposure at every game would be very useful for the Forum. It'd be great to see the Forum badge flashed across the big screen. The shirt, like previously mentioned, could be auctioned off for a good cause. Im sure if someone were to approach 1878 with our idea that we are not in it to benefit ourselves with the shirt, we may be able to get it signed by the owners, the management and ALL players. That would probably raise a lot more than just one players scribble on it.

Run a poll to select the player? My vote goes to Clifton as he is established, local, and best represents the passion and effort we want to see in all players.

I think the idea of approaching 1878 is a good one. It would be good if the shirt could be signed by the squad, auctioned off and given to the winner of the auction at the last game of the season.

If there is enough funds could we look to sponsor 2 players?

In for £5

'I walked in the dressing room. The window was open and I thought that a sea fret had got in. Then I saw smoke billowing from a pipe in the corner of the room...it was my centre-forward. He looked seven stone wet through. He went on to score thirty-odd goals that season.' Lawrie McMenemy on encountering the legend that was Matt Tees.

Okay, it looks like this could be a goer.

So, anyone who wants to contribute can send their money over to me. Via Paypal to lesbrechin@hotmail.com (remember to send to "someone you know" or "friends and family" as this incurs no charges.

I will post regular updates on here as to the running total and then when we reach the target we can contact the club and see how they want me to transfer the funds to them. I can also take bank transfer, my details are the same as ever but if you want to pay this way and don't know my details then just PM me and I will send them over to you.
