For me, the best is Draught Guinness. Draught Bitters:- Sam Smiths Camerons Bass John Smiths Lagers:- Apart from Carlsberg special brew, none of the rest Bottles:- Theakston's Old Peculier Batemans Victory McEwans Champion Newcastle Brown Jubliee Stout  (when I can get it) Those that have passed on:- Barnsley Bitter Darleys Hull Brewery Bitter Watneys Red Barrel The ones for the urinal:- Brew 10 Courage Sargents You can please some of the forumites some of the time but not all the forumites all of the time

Always used to be good in the Crows Nest. Batemans. Any type. Tetleys bitter. Shepherd Neame 1698 is ace as PP said. Was introduced to SN when at Uni in Canterbury. Master Brew and Bishop’s Finger. Latterly Spitfire. Took a while to get used to after northern ales. Lagers; not a big fan. But I quite like the cheap German and French stuff they sell in cans in Asda. Prefer a summer ale like Waggle Dance in the summer. Through the door there came familiar laughter, I saw your face and heard you call my name. Oh my friend we're older but no wiser, For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
