Big call at the time, never complained, but having since seen the footage back a few times, we got lucky. Morecambe v Accrington a 3rd tier fixture next season. Derek Adams is a top manager, he had one poor season at Plymouth and the next thing I see is him pitching up at Morecambe. I’d have had him here in a shot- he’s way better than this level. Apparently he’s off to Bradford now. "Don't shine that light in my face, mate - I've just lost a pint of blood."

It's funny that I've read some posts on numerous different platforms all but saying Morecambe shouldnt go up as there a small club and comparing to ourselves.  Some people need to stop looking at the size of clubs nowadays and take note of who's in charge.  Derek Adams is a good manager and even I was surprised they managed to get him.  I don't understand why he'd leave (well I do money talks) but doesn't he want to carry on what he started, as a Morecambe fan I'd be gutted. If he does leave I can't see them staying up as the momentum would be lost.
