Just to get it out the way heres a list of ex town players that are being released at the end of the season from league 2

Billy Clarke
Craig Clay
Ben Pringle
Jamille Matt
Paris Cowen Hall
Joe Windowson
Harry Pell
Harry Davis
Zak Mills
Chris Clements

Not saying that we should sign any of them but thought I'd throw them out there so everyone knows. Also not an exhaustive list this was a 5 min scan through the transfer market database so might have missed a few

I think the only one I would take a punt on would be Harry Davis. As good as Billy Clarke was for us, he left under a cloud and p!ssed on us from a great height so would happily turn my back on him

Surprised FGR have released Jamille Matt.

Didn't really do it for us but did well at Newport and was FGR's top goalscorer this season.

In fact I'm surprised any of the teams in the play-offs have released players when they don't know what Division they'll be in next season.

He hasn't been released. The list of players are out of contract but not released as of yet.

Ugh, no thanks. Hurst's track record with full backs is quality. Robertson, Townsend, Magnay, Tait. He'll get us better than Widdowson.
