I thought that. Even with a further payment because he was registered as a player too by hollowhead wasnt he, that still seems steep.

possibly , although i'd imagine Hurst is on £100,000+ and i'd imagine Doig will be in the same ball park as Davies

interesting that Ian Evatt, who seems to be apretty good manager and judge of players, signed him at Chesterfield and then took him to Barrow

sounds an interesting character to say the least, but not one you'd strike immediately as a Hurst type player

Not sure what he offers to be honest, would think Hurst is looking at bolstering the defence and forward line before looking at midfielders, imo
