Surely it needs looking into. I’m not one to normally blame the officials for defeats but when it is so blatant it has to be looked into. Everyone of us knew we were playing against 12 in that match. Incidentally he’s from Newark and we all know what that’s an anagram of.

Hurst was quite diplomatic to be fair As was McKeown Both of them highlighted the ref's poor decision making and also the lack of any explanation for his decisions As Hurst said though, even if he admits he and his assistant(s) got it wrong on their equaliser, the goal will stand and we will still only have a point and not the three we by rights deserved
