Apparently, there are no worries about the takeover. Stated it is a case of not if, but when. Shutes pulling out has delayed the process but certainly hasn't scuppered it. Stockwood is the driving force and isn't fazed by relegation. He is in for the long haul.



Hurst said something similar in his non-committal way in his prematch comments today. We just have to be patient again, and again but I'm sure good times will be soon.

I agree DB. I think we are all guilty of filling the void with opinions, speculation and hearsay. Apparently, this individual was very dismissive of the idea that the takeover wouldn't happen and has received reassurance.

Please don't shoot the messenger. I trust the person who told me this and the person they spoke to is, in their opinion, a straight shooter and extremely reliable.

I won't shoot you or your pal. You have to listen to how Hurst spoke, his body actions, and words. The deals on and Fenty will be on his way, in his resprayed old scratched car. Unfortunately with £2.5 million.

The future's good, the future will be a well run club, decent teams, good training facilities and, hopefully, a new ground.
