It’s extremely sad that people underestimate the damage that can occur to people’s health. Not least of all their mental health.
That’s all
Fenty has caused so much mental anguish to the people of this Town because of what he's done and said its almost an epidemic. I have not a jot of sympathy for the man, deserves everything he gets.

| In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions. Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them. GOD |

Think everyone is just guessing. We need to see the deal, then decide if we like it. I’m hoping I can support it, but resigned to ending my long love affair with the Mariners if it isn’t acceptable or falls through.
Agreed. For me, I want a plan, a plan for the exit of JSF even if he still has to have some representation on the Board until his loans are paid off, and then a plan for the future development of GTFC. The Tory pork barrel is there to put our snout in at the moment and we need to take advantage.

I am afraid G.T.F.C. will be forever an albatross around Fenty's neck until the day he dies, the only way to exorcise this is to seek redemption through a magnanimous community gesture. Otherwise he will always be haunted by his failure.

I couldn't care less about seeing the deal. The only important thing is JSF being expunged from GTFC forever and then the new owners settings out their vision for the club. The fine print of the deal is irrelevant.
When I say their vision I don't mean a throw away "back in the Championship within 5 years" comment. I mean improvements to infrastructure and fan experience at BP & being a supporter in general.

I agree he will always be seen as the man who continually embarrassed our club

I'd settle for Jf to be gone, fan interaction to improve, match day experience to improve (ie the faan zone) and us be a league Two siide that flirts wiith the play offs from time to time playing half decent football.... Genuinely isn't much to ask. I'm not going to be over the top and say I expect league 1 football etc. Those days are long gone.

Not having a go Lukeo but I feel this encapsulates the way in which this regime has sucked out the optimism and aspirations of the fans. Why shouldn't we be aiming to be at least a League 1 club?

Luke’s relatively young if I’m not mistaken, so nearly two decades of Town being lower League is the norm.

I think the supporters have had optimism and aspirations its just the board hasn’t A couple of posters suggesting we should see the deal, unfortunately democracy won’t be applied here and it will be what it will be, I’m confident that JSF will not be part of the leadership going forward.
