You got the spare cash lying around Rob? It’s not just money that Shutes was bringing to the table either. Never thought you would end up with such a simplistic view of things.

If he doesn't fancy it then better not having him at the table from day one. They've got a deal, don't overcomplicate things, just get it done.

I bet Crofty has a Bob or two and he has criticised Fenty.

Could Stockwood and Pettit join the board and then join forces with Dave Roberts and Jon Wood and vote Fenty off the board? If so it'll be 4 votes to Day and Champman's 2.

Surely there is a way with support in the board room to vote somebody off the board.

I have a bad feeling that all this is going to be bad for the club .  Either way the playing squad is going to suffer badley

I'm not sure where you have been the past few months but could the squad get much worse?

With respect Rob, you don’t know why he’s pulled out.

If it’s true that Fenty is insisting he’s still involved in running the club (and this definitely wasn’t part of the deal) I don’t blame anyone for pulling out. The other two should too in those circumstances.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

So the original consortium is now defunct & we now enter a new ball game.
The club have stated that there will be no further comment until they have something to report.
I seem to recall the same thing was said in December.
IF the parties decide to proceed are we then looking at another 3 months of re-negotiation & EFL ratification I wonder?
Nothing about my club surprises me any more - the circus continues.

So the consortium issue is the new long running new ground issue .

I don't know any more about these circumstances than anyone else, but I have been told many many times that Fenty is impossible to work with.

Trying to get a deal done and dusted with him must be like nailing jelly to the wall - nigh on impossible.

If the rumours are true about Fenty wanting any involvement after the sale then I am surprised the three of them haven't told him to take a very long walk off a very short pier.

It is a complete f**k up once again, as anything involving Mr Fenty seems to be; none of the people I go with will go to matches whilst Fenty is involved, including absolute die-hard fans. A complete break or forget it. We will always love the club but he has ruined it and even after a lifetime of going to BP we have to take a stand.
