Most people bring on an outlet he brings on a donkey and invites more pressure on already knackered players. The players where excellent tonight but their manager let them down, I seem to recall Carlisle away was where it started to turn around for Jolley, after that it might be where it ends for Hurst & us. It's too often countwr-intuitive because you cede territory, you cede initiative, you cede an outlet. Bring on fresh legs in the defence, sure, but don't bring on more defenders just to intercourse with the shape, especially when it's a defender who has been dire by his own standards for far too long. Unbelievably frustrated.

Can't blame Waterfall too much, he came on cold and would not have been up to speed mentally, he's an easy out for last minute panicking by Hurst
