We will just have to shut up and do the accounts ourselves. Should be able to come up with better results.

Will the club be forever haunted by the ghost of Stephen Marley or will that spectre disappear when Scrooge finally leaves the building?

Problem is we’ve already been sold a turkey and it wasn't the nice big fat one that made the Cratchetts happy.

That one was spoiled. We're going to get another one that won't be tainted. God bless us every one.

If it involves kicking and accuracy, he’ll be safe around BP 😉

| The wife was going away for a girly weekend. I jokingly remarked 'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football' 'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked She said 'Well you already know how to play football' |

Stephen let himself down badly at the Fan's Forum, and sadly for him that will be the overriding memory of him in most fans' minds. I may have not liked his methodology or the performance outcomes of his long term service to the club, but as a fellow Town fan, his commitment and time given for free has to be respected, and he will have been a big influence in keeping the club on a relatively even keel..

I kind of want to agree with the sentiment....but the three amigos have strangled the life out of this club and with him being the bean counter of the three aiding and abetting the frugal ways then its difficult to actually thank him. You are right though , he will always be remembered for that night , not for anything else he may have done to the benefit of the club......if he did.

If I hadn’t met him in a working capacity, I might be inclined to cut him some slack but I have so I can’t.

I know it’s hindsight, but just imagined he’d persuaded the board, oops sorry Mr Fenty, to just spend an extra £100k one season on a better striker, and who knows we could be another league higher so the “ benign loan” could have been reduced even further.

Funny that....my image is of a man sat in a wood panelled office , leather topped desk , blotting pad....telephone almost identical to the one in the Batcave ......buzzing and lighting up ... "Yes Commissioner Fenty.....you dont say , you dont say , really , dispicable i will follow this up " hangs up , turns to Philip...."Brace yourself Philip....Lisa has bought a new rubber for the office " "Holy eraser " Stephen .. "Cmon Philip...we need to get to Blundell Park....to the Bus Stop ...and dont forget you are an O.A.P so i only have to pay half"

One bit of poison gone just need to drain the swamp and get things moving forward off the pitch. Relegation if it happens will be bloody painful but at least id expect us to be competitive and have a decent budget without the current regime.
