This is a huge game a defeat we could be adrift at the bottom with us not looking to attractive to any new players.
A win we would move out the bottom two a positive buzz around the club and drop Southend deep in trouble.

Don’t concede town in the first 5 minutes.

Not even close to our biggest game...just two excrement teams struggling Becauee of a number of reasons including mismanagement of the club for a number of years finally catching up with them...

No, because there are another 22 games to follow.

But it is huge nevertheless because defeat means bottom spot, while a win might well move us out of the drop zone.

In terms of momentum it is psychologically important to start winning games. A win today will set us up nicely to go and take on the Scunts, especially as Scannell and Hanson seem to be nearing fitness and might well start next week.   With those two and Morais back in the squad we at least have a few more options.
