Let's hope Paul Hurst gets a 'pleasant surprise' from his players as he takes charge of his first game back at Blundell Park

Town: Russell, Hendrie, Waterfall, Pollock, Preston, Morais, Rose, Hewitt, Tilley, Green, Bennett.

Subs: Battersby, Idehen, Starbuck, Williams, Clifton, Jackson Jr, Gibson.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Tilley, Green and Bennett FFS, I'd nearly rather play with 9 men, before I get shouted at i realise there's nothing much else he can do, hopefully we get a new manager bounce.

About time Tilley stepped up.

Green starting because the rest are useless and i honestly think he’s the better of a shocking bunch. And i bet PH knows that

A desparate lack of attacking quality in that squad. Hurst has a hell of a job to do in this transfer window

I'd be happy with a point today.

At the end of the day, the squad is what it is. Let's hope they are a little more organised, but it is way too early to expect miracles.

I think the problem he’s got is. Do you go with the non league lads who in some people’s opinion haven’t got it or are very limited. Or do you go with the players who have shown quality in the past and just aren’t showing it now, in the hope to get something out of them? It’s a tough one

Yeah I'd agree with that Bennet, Green and William's have been diabolical, it's a tough choice between them and the non league lads.

Spokes is injured. Tilley was looking good before that thigh injury, I think he may have been rushed back, I think he can and will improve.

I just hope that with a new manager coming in and a transfer window imminent that the players realise they are playing for their futures and put a shift in and play a blinder.

Yes, that would help protect the back four. I am guessing his first priority is to avoid giving cheap goals away.

That all came from that fuckin excrement free kick

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Cos our first choice back 4 isn't remotely good enough. I pointed this out in another thread the other day along with the depressing statistic about us conceding the second most goals in the league, but most of the responses were along the lines of 'actually our defence is alright'. That goal there is a perfect example of why it isn't - Preston beaten too easily, Hewitt with an appalling clearance straight to them, Waterfall doesn't get a proper block in and ends up deflecting it past McKeown who had no chance. Just a succession of 3 bits of poor play from 3 different players who all aren't good enough to start regularly if we want to have a chance of staying up.

edit: i'm blind and didn't realise Russell was starting today

A couple of cameo sub appearances

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

So far we’ve seen why Bennet and Rose should be nowhere the first team. Neither can beat the first man with a dead ball.

Poor clearance by Hewitt for the goal I’m afraid.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Yes, I really prefer getting annoyed by the same players making the same mistakes every match. Being able to moan about these reoccurring problems as they happen on this message board in real-time is why I watch football matches and not because I want Grimsby Town to be a competently run football club on and off the pitch.

If only we could run the team like the X Factor or Britain’s Got Talent.

Players play the game and at the end of it get a decision from a panel of Hurst, Doig, Ben and Dave wether they get through to the next game or not.

Why not accept what we are atm, a team 3rd from bottom of League two.  You will not get perfect foot ball here, just get behind the lads for a change.

We have been atrocious lately. These are supposedly professional footballers who have plied their trade for a few years. Is there any wonder most of them were free agents. Their last teams seemingly did right in releasing them.

Even at this point in the season we can allow one or two more pisspoor performances for Hursty to get a really good idea of who he wants out the door. Lets not deny him that opportunity. Without actually seeing them perform badly, he may not be able to make the right decision.

Because we keep conceding goals as a result of avoidable individual errors? People posting on here about how frustrated they are when they happen won't stop:

- Bennett giving the ball away twice in quick succession from free kicks in promising areas leading to us getting caught out on the counter
- Preston letting his man get by him on said counter attack
- Hewitt making a poor clearance from the cross into a dangerous area
- None of the other midfielders being on the edge of the box to clean it up allowing their lad to get a shot off
- Waterfall making a poor attempt at a block which deflects it into our own goal

I'd suggest if you're not happy with people commentating on these things as they happen then you give the match threads a miss until Hurst's had a chance to overhaul the squad.

Thing is, because the ball was arriving to Green I never expected a goal, just the tackle or an easy save for the keeper.

Any half decent striker would have at least had a shot there. I can't see who will score.

Jimmy Floyd Haiselmaink just rejoined Burton as manager.
They are 3-0 down at home.
Makes Paul Hursts job look simple.

If this was 0-0 I'd have been really happy with how we're playing now but early mistakes and a lack of cutting edge up front mean I don't see any way we can get back into the game

The one thing we can be sure of is that even after 2 days in the job Hurst would have made it clear to every player what he expects from them, I’m not sure that’s been the case under Holloway.

I watch every match and what I see is the lads giving 100% effort, the fact that we are at the bottom of League Two, and that players are continually making errors, is that they are not Premier League players and do not have the quality that those players do.

FFS. Lack of pace at the back ( exactly why Hewitt should be in the back 4) and a cracking strike and we're 0-2 down. Why don't we ever see out "strikers" running onto balls like that and striking the ball cleanly like that.

In my opinion that all came from Green not securing and holding the ball played into him.

Two attacks for us resulting in 2 goals for them.

Easy ball in to Green's feet on the edge of their area fluffed, good ball forward but poor from Pollock there, showing his inexperience and allowing Mullin to get on the inside, quality finish, 2-0.

Dear oh fukin dear
If Hurst can keep this lot up he will be the best manager in the history of the game

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

If you think they're giving 100% effort then I suggest you pay a bit more attention to our movement off the ball. It's non existent because we have too many lazy players in the squad who prefer to hide and it's why we have absolutely no threat because we don't stretch the opposition and are comically easy to defend against.

Keep the faith. The shortcomings are obvious. Hurst has the backing and 24 games to keep us up. The season doesn't end at 4.50 today.

What has premier league got to do with it? People just expect a player to at at least be at that standard.

We’re league 2 but sadly the previous manager brought in players from divisions below conference south.

We’ve been consistently appalling all season, saying that doesn’t make anyone less of a supporter. Finding excuses to justify how bad this side is doesn’t help anyone. I suspect you the constant blame culture so far this season has led to a squad that seemingly are numb to defeat.

This squad is arguably worse than the squad that went down; perhaps they’re a little more professional but applauding effort means excrement all. So what if they put effort in? Doesn’t win games, especially when the players with all that effort are devoid of any ability.

Our current best player is an aging player just thankful for a game, what does that tell you?

Nobody expected Hurst to turn it around working a few days and it’s clear he knows exactly what our issues are but as a fan I can still be annoyed at yet again, a flipping awful performance littered with mistakes, costly ones at that.

And furloughing the grounds man has to be up there with one of the clubs worst ever decisions...

Be careful what you wish for. A termination of the season is not out of the question and if a PPG system were to be used once again, we’d be down as it stands.

If he underestimated the task in front of him, he won’t now.

There’s at least 5 of the starting eleven who aren’t good enough. Most of them in the front 6.

The players in this squad - I’d only want to keep Morais, pollock, Waterfall, Hewitt and maybe Hendrie and Rose. Everyone else needs to go - most aren’t even conference level

Our front 3 have been flipping embarrassing, I’m almost glad that Bennett and Green have been because now Hurst can see them for the useless waste of a wage they both are.

This is the plus side to watching a bad performance, Hurst will definitely know that he can't trust any of these to drag us out of relegation danger. I hope he gets at least 5 or 6 new players to put into the starting 11

Basically you just said what I said, that we don't have quality players.  I must say I do not understand the comment 'people just expect a player to at at least be at that standard.'

The bit I don’t get is the likes of Tilley, Bennet, Rose etc.. doing some good work to be able to make a pass that makes a difference and the just fluff the pass, what’s that a lack of quality, not wanting to take responsibility on the ball or that they just don’t care that much.

Be careful what you wish for. A termination of the season is not out of the question and if a PPG system were to be used once again, we’d be down as it stands.

Well we deserve to be on the season so far. Two really good performances this season....thats it.  Hate to see the club i love being represented by shower of sh1te players who at best look half hearted and even less capable.
We have virtually 10 men who are more confident playing backwards than forwards.

We’re genuinely worryingly bad.

People having a pop at fans for saying we’re excrement is pointless too. Being critical and honest doesn’t make one less of a fan.

Hurst has a job on, he knows that. In truth Hewitt, pollock, Hendrie and may be Waterfall are layers you could trust but even then I’m not so sure.

Morais is understandably a class above and the sad thing is he’s here because he just wants to play football for as long as possible. Fair play but what does that say for some of the young lads.

We brought Poundland players in in the summer and have a squad that is ridiculously large and worringly lacks quality.

I don’t think we expected a win today but some of the players don’t even seem to have reacted to a new manager coming in, or have they and they’re just male masturbation?

People said about IH bringing in players from levels below that's the problem. No the problem is the players that have come from above or the same league, At least the players that have come from leagues below actually put a shift in. Kyle Bennett, Matt Green, James Hanson (whilst he may be of quality, him not being fit is as a reason we are in this mess), Scannell, Wiliams are all not good enough. Spokes and Jackson are the only two players that have shown a bit of quality and they came from levels below.

I think Waterfall has been poor this season. We like to focus on our failures up the pitch, but defensively we've been woeful at times. Even Pollock (who seems to often escape criticism) hasn't had a good season and I'd be surprised if anyone stumps up money for him. The writing really does feel like it's on the wall here.

Anyone noticed that most goals conceded come from down our left side. It is too easy for the opposition and they expose it ruthlessly.
Going forward we are clueless and have no drive from anyone in midfield. Is there any wonder we don’t score many. PH has a massive task on his hands

And there you go, that's Pollock's Achilles heel, great in the box, can read the game but has no pace!...teams have sussed that out and as soon as he's up against a player with only half a yard of pace he's done every time they've sussed our left side is p!ss weak too...
Hurst has got a massive job on his hands, if I were to be brutal, I'd say there's 3-5 players on that pitch I'd play next weekend.
Hendrie, Waterfall, Tilley, Rose and Preston...that's it for me

Hanson is a waste of a wage. Might be harsh but he’s a crock. No use to us at all and in truth you wouldn’t even feature him in any plans.

Green huffs and puffs but we’ve signed him 4 years too late. Bennet and Rose are awful. I’m sure someone will point our various reasons why they’re not but from what we’ve seen they just lack whatever it is we need.

Morais naturally has ability and is trying but to no avail, not necessarily his fault though.

The goals conceded were awful and have been pretty much all season.

We can all support the team and know that Hurst was never working a miracle today but ignoring the fact we’re excrement or simply being positive for positive sake is futile.

I'm glad I'm not Hurst. So Cambridge are 2 nil up after 2 counter attacks after our "attackers" copulated up, probably best way to describe how the game has gone.

They're letting us play the ball around. Just sitting back and relaxing, because they can. Toothless up front as always, hardly a shock with Green and Bennett leading the attack.

Nothing else to talk about really is there. A none event for Town once again.

Before that we probably need to shed some of the dead weight. Even between boxes it's the same tippy-tap nonsense that ends up back at our own keeper or as a misplaced pass to the opposition. Nobody wants the ball and nobody takes control and tries to create anything. As much as Edwards would 9/10 times lose the ball at least he was somebody who would run with the ball and try to beat players. Nobody in the side today seems to want to do that. Corners crap as usual, free kicks crap as usual. Hurst needs to get everyone in to learn how to kick a ball for starters then build from there as we fail at basics.

Granted the first goal came from a deflection (created by a crap free kick technically) and the second was a good pass and goal with Pollock beaten for pace we couldn't do much about those. We should be doing more about scoring goals though and we aren't.

Slightly strange game, Cambridge have had 3 shots and scored 2 (should have been 3)

We’ve retained possession fairly well but we never look like we’re going to score. Until we can get a decent striker in we really need to work on our set pieces as its the only way we’re going to score and our delivery has been atrocious.

Second half we get to see who wants to be here, I’m hoping to see the players get out there and show some determination and fight to get back into this game.

Wake up call for anyone who thinks staying up is a given.

If things stay the same we will be in the bottom two tonight despite having played more games than our rivals.

Hollow Words was a complete fcuk up. His so called experience and vast network of contacts have resulted in the worst squad in the country.

Hurst has a massive job on here. I think six new players is a minimum. As far as I am concerned every player in the current squad, with the exception of Wright and Moralis, can sod off. Not good enough. Need a massive clear out.

Yes, because that's what I said. For what it's worth, at least if it was due to lack of effort, we'd know we were capable of more. Lack of quality tells you that we're simply not good enough, and without lots of changes, won't be.

Matt Green there on the edge of the box. Ball into him - first touch is shocking and knocks it miles away from him, second touch is straight to a defender. They then immediately send it straight up the other end as they know it's our achilles heel and we get lucky the through ball is slightly over-hit. Worse than abject

Cambridge break and score and we break so slowly bu the time we get to the  opposition box they have the whole team behind the ball. we're not good at creating space. Morris looks good but where he wants to play the ball there is nobody there.

We need to have a mass clear out like Newport (I think) did a short while back to stay up.

So this is where we need to start pumping some balls in to test their keeper.

How much can we spend this season on transfers with the Premiershite bail out 10K or something wasn't it? I hope theres lots of quality free agents and loans just lying around for Hurst.

I'm always sceptical, probably time wasting.

Should have been 1 - 2 or at least a header on target.

I had a bet on Cambridge to win whilst on the Holloway run.

They have already paid up at 0-2.

However, don’t forget Cambridge are in playoffs and our next opponents are Port Vale who are on a dreadful run too.

Things might be bad but am confident we won’t go down....

The fault lies with Fenty  Town have off loaded key players  many times penny pinching causing a slide down the table  aided by his most recent managerial farce  Hollowwords  Hurst has only been in charge for 45 minutes UTM

Yes, because that's what I said. For what it's worth, at least if it was due to lack of effort, we'd know we were capable of more. Lack of quality tells you that we're simply not good enough, and without lots of changes, won't be.

So flipping depressing

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.

Surprised he scored from there was a very good header. To be fair to Bennett he's come on more this half with his deliveries, dunno what was said to him at HT but seems to have worked.

Confidence, or lack of. Needs to feel that he can cut it at a higher level, so needs to convert a chance or two. Took Hearn a while to adjust.

What happened to substituted players having to leave the pitch at the nearest point?

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

It was one of those rules to appease fans that refs were always going to be too chicken to enforce

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

I once said Gazza's IQ was less than his shirt number and he asked me: What's an IQ? - George Best

Same as the six second rule for keepers to hold the ball in their hands, unless that rule doesn't apply anymore.

The fault lies with Fenty  Town have off loaded key players  many times penny pinching causing a slide down the table  aided by his most recent managerial farce  Hollowwords  Hurst has only been in charge for 45 minutes UTM

Gibson showed alot in that second half, very lively.

Overall lack of quality going forward costs us again.

Much better second half.

Hopefully we’ll be much better next week after a full week of training with Hurst and a few new additions.

Poor first half gave us too much to do. Second half very encouraging though with players stepping up, Gibson very close to an equaliser at the end there but their keeper reacted well. Always more difficult when chasing a result but could tell we gave Cambridge a scare with them timewasting quite a bit and sitting back. If we had a better first half we could have got a result here and I'm sure Hurst and Doig will be getting that message across.

Resultwise I don't think anyone would have been surprised by that before the match so we're probably no worse off than expected.

Tale of two halves.

Would have given Hurst a lot more information. Knows who is up for the fight. Who isn't. Hope Morais doesn't get injured. Looks our best player based on that second half.

You can't start that poorly, then miss with good chances. Not getting any luck either as the deflected first goal attests.

We are not that far away from being competitive.

Get three or four better players in that side and I think we'll be ok.

Another defeat
BUT kept going to the end .And for once put a bit of pressure on late on. Showed fight and spirit.. In some previous games we never looked like getting back into games.

Something for Hurst to build on. Squad needs freshening up. I can see a number leaving this month and a handful coming in.

The stats don’t lie, but stats don’t win games.
Best team today, but the toothless attack in and around the box continues to be evident. PH will know that, and he will sort things. Matt Green has to go though I’m afraid.

Considerably better later in that second half. A bit late, but one of our better performances this season bar a couple of quiet spells and one fantastic goal -pollock was too slow there imo.

Either way, the desire and guile the players showed was something we never saw under Holloway and something you always expect coming from a PH team.

Clearly lacking pace at the back, creativity in CM but fundamentally, a good striker in the mould of most that PH signed in his time would turn this team from a 4/10 into a 6/10.

January is make or break, but I am pleasantly encouraged by elements of our performance there.

But second half much much better
And we managed to have sustained pressure
2/3 better forward players and I think we will be OK

Bennett
Gibson
Morais
All good today

Rose - too slow/ponderous?
Green - sorry but he's gone

Tilley - if not injured then being taken off half time won't be good for him

Jackson - struggling at this level

Far better in the second half but some poor finishing (and a good save) has cost us any chance of snatching a point. Just as with Bradford, a team has come here and had to do sodomist all to score twice and win the game. Hopefully that second half is a bit of a tide-turner and Hurst has a much better idea of who needs to start the next game.

thought tilley wasn't bad first half, surprised he was taken off. williams at least showed a bit more, at last when he came on. gibson did more in 30 than green has managed in the last 2-3 hours of footie. hendrie and morais looks a decent right hand partnership.
feel sorry for preston he gets so exposed on that left hand side
don't know why clifton was dropped, especially as rose continues to baffle me as to his worth

as was said earlier ,its not just the lack of creativity and finishing, its the fact that teams don't really seem to need to do too much to score against us

Think there was an element of Hurst having a look at players in this game, which is where having 5 subs allowed will help him and Doig assess things quicker. Tilley didn't do himself any favours: Green neither. Gibson could become a regular with a better partner and a bit of confidence. Hurst will have learned a bit today.

Broadly speaking, nothing up front until Gibson came on and no pace at the back were where the points were lost. With three new additions, a game we could easily win against another very ordinary looking side..

Is Jackson struggling? Scored a couple of goals and I'm pretty sure he's hardly had more than a couple of sub appearances and maybe 1 start? Opinions can be funny things but I guess this is why fans aren't managers. I also feel like Rose is one of the better of our signings this season, not every player is a skinny whippet who can run fast, Pollock is slow too but nobody gets on his case because he comes from our youth system. We've had players who were never particularly fast but good at moving the ball around that can be good players. Sometimes you need players with a bit of build like Rose and Pollock as they don't get bullied off the ball so easily.

Green is an oddball, sometimes he'll have a good game and show he's capable then the next 3 games he'll be lazy and predictable.

At least Gibson is a handful and makes a nuisance of himself. Feels like Green is pretty easy for centre backs to play against now. A striker has to be number one priority though surely.

Based on today`s performances I would say that these 4 should be shown the door:

Green.... obviously.
Rose. Not good enough - misses too many balls.
Hewitt. Despite the goal, I don`t think he cuts it. Too many mistakes.
Preston. No coincidence that teams like to attack on his side of the defence?

Preston is a boy doing a mans job. He had never played a league game until this season. It's shameful that we don't have someone more experienced at left back. Preston should be a back up.

I write this every January transfer window, as we’re always desperate for a striker around this time, any player in form or who knows where the goal is, will not be leaving their current club, so once again we are going to have to scrape around for either a young lad from premiership/ championship or  someone from the conference which would mean getting the cheque book out.

Not necessarily. There will be strikers out there not getting a game. Some teams have more than 2 or 3 strikers on the books, unlike us. There will be teams that want to strengthen their defence maybe and will let a striker go. Squad caps mean teams have to offload to bring others in.

Opinions on Williams? Obviously had been a quality player pre-injury. Looks pretty anonymous when he comes on, with fairly poor/consistently low-loft deliveries. Sadly not showing to be the player I'd hoped , but maybe Hurst can get something out of him. Almost looks scared to challenge/be on the ball... Wonder if it's because of his broken leg?

Injuries often change players for one reason or another. Or, have we simply not seen him have enough of a run in the side to judge yet?

We need a striker (big and mobile LJL style) a left back and a midfielder who can carry the ball forwards, and if not using Hewitt as a centre back we need a Toto type asap. Bennet had a decent game after the failed freekicks, Green a waste of space (how do you not even get a shot off when clean through). Dont anyone call me a liar but I saw Williams do a tackle on 88mins, well I say a tackle he stood a foot in front of their player (facing him and not running away) and he kicked it at him and it landed at his feet
Decent 2nd half and should have got a point in the end but it took till 70mins for any of our midfielders to run into the box, and put any proper pressure on. As said earlier our keeper only had 4 shots to face, but typically a big deflection to set it all downhill from the start.

League table doesn't lie. This squad is just not good enough. Couldn't beat an egg.

Thank Christ Holloway has gone. At least now we have a chance.

But I think we need six new players. Everyone probably agrees that we need a couple of decent strikers and a couple of midfielders. But    I think we need a couple of defenders too.

Because Waterfall, Hendrie, and Pollack are not as awful as many of the rest, they look better by comparison. But we are so easy to score against and so lacking in pace at the back that the truth is that we need reinforcements there too.

Wouldn't be sorry to see any of the current squad out the door to be honest. Most of them are either too inexperienced, too old, too injury prone, too lazy or just crap.  Or all of the above.

croft on RH said that when a new boss comes in you see players raise their game in response. Williams, and Tilley, were the only 2 to do that, albeit from very low bases. and yes he even made a tackle. having said that i would've thought that Hurst would expect him to be ashowing alead, to be a far more influential figure than he has been.

ps 1 other thing i noticed was Morais taking control of things on the pitch, directing players and being more vocal & demanding. Will he become captain?

Looking at the game today he wasn`t flattering himself, except for the goal, but he may be good for us in the long run if he ups his game a little.

Based on todays first half there should be question marks raised over Pollock too, but I guess he was a little bit nervous considering all the agents there to see him.
If he goes, I really do hope that we get a quick defender as an replacement.

If there were agents watching Pollock today he surely hasn't done himself any favours.

Grovesie style goal today showed what we are missing in the position, a centre midfielder arriving at the right time. He only did that once really today, not sure if he had a slightly different brief as the game went on, as he seemed to be pushing up a bit more than he did first half. Overall though lacks the ball skills to be a complete midfielder and some of his challenges today were a bit lucky to escape without a yellow.

Tilley looked better today. I don’t get what Williams adds - like the rest of IH’s more experienced signings he falls into the general category; sick note/ ex sick note and now not good enough / was never going to be good enough...

Hewitt is a valuable utility player for this level.

Im sure Boris Johnson is that vile fat cobra that got banned from here

He hasn't been on since he was banned for the simple reason that he is still in hospital after risking his life single- handedly rescuing 63 passengers from a sinking canoe off the coast of Goa. You ought to be ashamed of yourself Hagrid

I agree about Hewitt, we actually looked better when he pushed further forward, as he does compete and is mobile.
True the clearance wasn’t great, but at least he was back there cutting the cross out and on another day it wouldn’t have fell so kindly (never mind the deflection wrong footing Russell) and wouldn’t have been costly

I agree re Gibson, he does have raw energy and potential, imagine him getting a run in a 442 next to a fit Hanson or similar player, I think he would quickly become a valuable Team asset

Against the majority, i actually thought Green started the game well.
Won headers, was involved, and linked up well with Tilley.
But it didn't last long, and soon become anonymous, and missed a golden chance at 1-0 when Hendrie poked the ball through.
Moments later, Mullin had a similar chance but further out, and scored a wonderful goal .... the difference right there.

I also feel for Rose a bit.
He is never going to be that midfielder who gets the ball, runs forward and looks for the killer pass... that's not his game.
What he does well, which is often overlooked, is he reads the game well, he's involved and stops easy passes being made
We've seen in Hurst first spell, he actually likes these types of players

Disappointed Tilley come off at half-time, as he looked out only threat
Gibson however, did help and, despite playing half the game, apparently had our most amount of shots!

Overall, i'm concerned about the 2nd half of the season, but not in the 'it's over' bracket just yet.
We created chances, but don't have that natural goalscorer
Got crosses in, and got the ball into the box more than enough to have got something from the game
