Mike White is saying we're interested in taking Jake Taylor on loan from Forest. Young centre mid who was recalled from a loan with Scunny last week. Port Vale also believed to be interested.

Read on Vale site they were interested but on info given in both that article, and the Scunthorpe one when he went back, the implication is that Forest want to sell him not make another loan.

Sounds like Forest want to move him on permanently, hence the recall. He was at Vale last season and was pretty prolific, scoring 7 in 25.

Hasn’t done the business at Scunny, for whatever reason.

Sorry gents I have misread it - Mike White doesn't say we're interested in a loan so could be a potential permanent. Seen a Scunny fan saying they liked him but was poorly utilised.

Vale fans really rate him. Looks like he would be better used in a 3 man midfield. Scunny tried to play him in a 4-4-2 and it seemingly didn't work.

I wonder if he was going to Vale but Askey getting the bullet has stalled things. Presumably it was Askey he played on loan for at Vale?

His agent, Sproson/Sproston, has said ball is in Vale’s court, presumably to get a move for his client.
