My dad is 91 and in a care home......
Every time I speak to him his first words are......how are town doing.....?
He always stood in the constitutional corner on the concrete steps.
Town was his passion.....as is mine....
How do I tell him the truth......
With all the worry about COVID all he and I want is something to cheer us up.....life is so short so is town worth worrying about....
Yes....it keeps us going ...

The memories are all we have got.....

I still hope....

You have my sympathy Epworth. Difficult having your nearest and dearest in a care home. Hope we have happier days soon enough for him.

I used to stand in the Constitutional Corner 40’years ago as a teenager.  Some great characters in there

My mum is the same
She is in Rivelin care home
She went to school with Kieth Jobling
She always asks how The Town are doing

I don’t think the board realise how big GTFC means and it’s importance is in the community
