If his contract is up in June, he isn't worth that much when teams can get him for free in the summer, unless Posh have an option for another year.

Yeah, he’s contracted until June 2022. And good luck to his agent trying to bully MacAnthony isn’t selling him now. PUFC have never sold a top player in January apart from Ryan Bennett and that was only because they got him back on loan for the rest of the season.

All the sites I've looked at have him as contracted until June 2021. Left here 2018 on a 3 year deal.

Well whatever his contract length, he seems to be pulling the same stunt as he did here. One guy on their forum said he had seen furloughed scousers work harder than him.

They only got Bennett on loan for a month, he played 8 games for Norwich at the end of that season.
