Iam pleased for Dembele that he is possibly getting a move to one of the big boys in Scotland. I know their level is not a Man City/Liverpool one but pundits have stated in the past that the elite of Scottish football would be a middle of the road premiership team in England.

Still surprised a bit that Rangers/Celtic are chasing him. I would of had him English championship  at best . Having said that I still loved watching him when he was here.

Peterborough do back up what they say though.  There's a long list of players, especially attacking players who've been developed at Peterborough and then sold after having failed to agree new terms.

Survive probably. Prosper? I think not.

The teams coming up from the Championship to the prem this season would give them a run for their money, but those same teams won't trouble the top end of the Premier League.

As of now, the Auld Firm are behind the EPL . They get nothing like the funding from TV deals. If they were admitted it’d only be a question of time for them to adjust. They might yo-yo got a couple of seasons. Then they’d be on by a par with the big English clubs.

The rest of Scottish football would get a lot less money mind.

This. Rangers and celtic can't compete with top EPL clubs due to the EPL money from sky, which rangers and celtic only get a pale imitation of as Scottish football is irrelevant. If they were in the EPL they would soon be in the top group, they're certainly bigger clubs than  spurs.
