If anyone doubts these players just look at their reaction at the final whistle! They are playing for each other no matter how scrappy it is. That was the biggest 45 minutes of the season and they just about scraped through together as a team

To be honest, a poor game with two poor sides

However, 2 performances stood out for me, Hewitt and Pollock, up front we were sadly lacking also in midfield I thought Spokes didn't do two badly because he has hardly played

Three great points though and for that Scunthorpe muppet who keeps coming on here, my God you were really crap.

After this week a result is the only thing that matters. Could pick holes in the quality but with Waterfall, Hanson, Scannel, Rose and Wright missing makes it even better.
Pollock brilliant but I'm going to give it to Hewitt who was very good in a unfamiliar role. Special mention to Spokes who for large parts did very well.

Finally changed things to suit the players on the pitch. 4-4-2, no playing out from the back, balls into the channels, set-piece goal. Very boring percentage stuff, but we win 1-0! Halleluiah!
