FT....1-1

Probably a fair result.

Other results going for us today in general.

Two sides without a cutting edge. About the right result, but we had enough sniffs of the goal to have nicked all three points. Need someone canny in front of goal.

I’m just pleased we created some chances. Think the Tilley/Pollock sub didn’t help as Hewitt was doing well in the middle but maybe Pollock had a knock.

Morais looked like he can deliver a good cross and pleased Jackson scored.

The fact we’re happy with a point at home against a Mansfield side as bad as us tells you how bad we really are...

Had chances to win it but in truth lacked the cutting edge again to finish the game off...

Team in first half more organised and played like a team. Team we finished with very messy very individual and didn’t operate like a team. Too many changes!

possibly but morais and edwards definitely improved us, and even Tilley was far more effective than Bennett.
think we can take  a bit of confidence from that ( and it takes us another game closer to January)

Two poor sides
Fair enough result.
Waterfall mom
Bennett & Taylor need sending back to where they came from.
Jackson looked okay and held the ball up well.
Edwards is a great player to watch, the final product will come very soon.

Overall a more professional performance
Green shoots??????

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.
