Does anyone know Podge - and if they do -can they ask him about Newport's secret formula?

Newport’s success is down to fan involvement and ownership.

I am the eternal optimist - but if things don't rapidly improve its us & Southend for the drop to Kings Lynne & Boreham Wood.

Matt Rhead plays for Boreham Wood.

Thanks Old Codge

All for one and one for all then?

'I walked in the dressing room. The window was open and I thought that a sea fret had got in. Then I saw smoke billowing from a pipe in the corner of the room...it was my centre-forward. He looked seven stone wet through. He went on to score thirty-odd goals that season.' Lawrie McMenemy on encountering the legend that was Matt Tees.

The Team Fenty Red Cross brigade are on fire tonight. My comments regarding Newport are entirely factual. They have a fantastic board of directors who are local business people elected by fans.

I don't get it I really don't, how anyone can defend what's gone on here for so long now it's like the death of a thousand cuts. Some people must have a very very very low bar.

And a succession of televised cup runs.

By having a side good enough to not go out in round 1 every season.

Surviving this season and then, as was shown today we will start to progress under Holloway. His brand of football is exciting and I can see him building a team that will get promoted.

Seems we've both changed our positions the same night Pete, I have after seeing that performance tonight, play like that and we'll be OK. What happened to your 'in Ollie we trust'?

I don't want us to be ok I want success and I am doubting if we will ever get any.

It's no good saying we played well but we lost.
