We’re no better or worse than we were before kick off. And for anyone who wants to wail otherwise, I’d say you’ve not been watching us too closely this season so far.

We’re in a better position than when Jolley left and history should tell us all that swapping Holloway for A.N Other will not suddenly transform us.

Not quite sure who could do better, given the budget and the current situation. I honestly think he has an eye on the next season(s), giving lots of experience to youth players ready for next year. He'll never admit it, but this season is a write-off.

What?...in the conference?..you cannot shy away from the fact that that's where we are heading in our current form!...at what point does Holloway put his hands up and admit, he's royally f@cked up and isn't good enough to leave his so called legacy at GTFC?...

I thought you had enough sense to realise that you can't get every player who is at the top of your shopping list.  There has to be many reasons Ollie couldn't get better players.  The covid clause in the contracts for a start, clubs offering better contracts, wives not wanting to move to Grimsby, players not wanting to move to Grimsby.  Players not willing to sell up and buy a house in the Grimsby area.  I am sure there are many more reasons too, it's not a question of Ollie ringing someone up and saying you're coming to Grimsby!  I would guess that the majority of the squad that we have were not on the top of his list.

JT now starting to panic ad he’s wondering how to phrase his questions to Ollie, already putting his tin hat on!
