First two goals were down Waterfall's side, who is shocking when any team slide balls in on the floor. Third goal the cross should never have come in but Idehen should have fought harder to get in front of the strikers. Very easy to point the finger at Idehen and give Waterfall a free ride.

Exeter are streets ahead of us with the ball. Know their next pass, great shape and movement. We just work hard without any nous or composure..


Waterfall is being pulled from pillar to post because the rest of the defence are an absolute liability. The first goal was his header to win, yet two of his teammates inexplicably decided to leave their men and join him.

Folks I am sorry to make the point again, but sometimes we have to accept that there is a team in the wrong league. This time it’s Exeter. They have the team to be top half of L1 hoping to go up to Championship.
If we keep it to 1-3 well done.

Exeter are a good side but our defending is a major concern.

“keep us shape” but credit to Exeter for pulling an inexperienced side around when it mattered.

Not sure how we’re going to get back into this to be honest.
