Doesn't make sense really does it....
Barrow have a capacity just over 4,000. If they were to find themselves in Tier One, unlikely I know, they could reach nearly 100% capacity. Whereas Bolton, again if in Tier 1, would only be allowed 14% of their capacity.
I think it will state they will have to be social distance between each fan , Blundell Park would be less than 2,500 so no idea how many a club like Barrow could get in. There looks to be a office block at one end of the ground.

It is actually bad news for the club isnt it ? At the moment they have the money from ST sales in the bank and have very little matchday costs to eat into it......if they are able to open the ground they wont get any additional income from sales as it will only be the season ticket holders allowed in but they will have to man every stand, turnstyles, etc etc and unless the stewards are working for free then its only going to cost us money rather than generate it.

If we have sold 1400 ST's, then there will be scope for a few hundred match day ticket sales.

Yes, even if we were in the lowest tier the club would have the Main stand condemned so we couldn't play. Saving money comes first. Fans come last.

I think thats only a slim possibility, probably more effort than its worth for the club in reality, ticket office open , printing tickets, turning the office lights on, printer ink, staff drinking cups of tea and eating biscuits on their break...all adds up you know.

Plus the fact the rest can still watch it on iFollow.

Can't see away fans happening just yet. Although stranger things have happened.
I wonder if I can get a ticket at Colchester Don't know how many STs they have sold and away fans enclosure won't be open of course but there must be a possibility

As per usual with this government, it’s another badly thought through policy. Some clubs will benefit from being in Tiers 1 & 2 with home fans backing them, sadly we won’t.
Sorry - since we're in a public health emergency for at least another three months, how is it badly thought through to minimise infections by limiting crowds. Presumably you thought that allowing the Cheltenham Festival to take place and for 3,000 Real Madrid fans into Liverpool earlier this year was a great idea?
