He’s struggled today, him and Taylor don’t look a good pairing. May be useful with Clifton next to him.

He’s not in the top 10 players we’ve had since we’ve been back in the league. He’s not even close to being our best player at the minute. Not that I think he’s bad.

If rose is playing then he needs the energy of Clifton with him. Rose is decent, nowt special, had a nightmare today tho so could hardly complain at being dropped

I can't believe this thread had reached 3 pages without someone saying Salfordmariner is looking at it through Rose-tinted spectacles.

To be fair I was hammered when I wrote that

And watched him at Pompey a few times when they went up. Talk to any Pompey fan. And they will probably be the only ones who agree with me on this!

He’s certainly a tidy player but not really a game changer, sadly (as with many others) I thought it was his worst performance today
He is also one of only a few experienced players we have, and I’d like to see him show more leadership and vocal encouragement to some of the younger players

Silly little boy. Find anywhere where i’ve said he’s worth a starting spot. Said he’s best of a bad bunch.     What on earth has Rose done thus far to show anything. I’ll tell you. Nothing. He and the rest, not good enough
