Thoughts ?

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Plenty of toilet rolls and drinks.

Very strange times we are in but some of the decisions made by government are extremely baffling (keeping schools and universities open for example)

I work for the railway and will be working all the way through like I have done from the start of this virus so not that much different for me really.

Grimsby and proud!

Anyone who genuinely believes we are locked down until 2nd December is deluded in my opinion. It took about 8 weeks until cases started coming right down last time. And that was with schools, colleges and universities closed.

Four weeks sounds a bit arbitrary, but hey Ho, I’m used to the make it up as you go along approach now.

It feels harder this time round. In March we had the longer days coming, April and May we had superb weather so it was easy for kids to be outdoors. Now we’ve got short, wet miserable days to look forward to.  Working from home every day was a novelty and bonus, now it’s the new norm so there isn’t anything positive this time round.

Also last time I was easing myself back after a little op so I had a bit of an excuse for not doing much exercise for a few weeks. Now I’ve got to drag myself out

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I've not been in the office or had to face the misery commute on Northern Rail since March. I know I'm in a massively privileged position working from home but I'd love to be back on the standard daily slog again. I was in tier 3 beforehand so expect to be in some sort of lockdown for the foreseeable.

We were going to take off touring in our camper to the wilds of Scotland, but can't do that now- not for the foreseeable at least. I work mostly from home anyway, so nothing new there, but I have no orders to fulfil, so will probably do a lot of walking and unnecessary DIY around the house. Built a new shed in the last lockdown.

Do what I did KM  I joined a gym to get over two knee replacement ops

Now I am doing it at home there are two advantages for doing that way.

1. I do not have to pay.

2. I do not have to do it .
