Put alongside recent performances, that was a good half. More progressive and positive than of late and we really should be 1 up. Need to build on it and get a result that will boost everyone’s moral. Some of the cynicism on here is just boring and predictable, and from the usual moaners.

Looking slightly more cohesive aka putting 4 passes together in one go before losing it.

I’m not sure why we’re not a straight 4-4-2

The only striking option that could improve us tonight is a new one. All of our strikers (including Hanson) have been absolutely dreadful all season. Gibson needs a loan and quick.

Haha, to be honest i was thinking the same.

The formation selection is working ok really until it goes to the front line where we fizzle out hopelessly.  Certainly more progressive than in the last 3-4 games but zero end product again, Wright should have hit the target at the very least with that header but aside from that too many wrong choices in that 30-40 yd range of their goal.

Gibson and Bennett not doing enough for me so far where it matters.
