I read on a post somewhere someone saying they wondered if anyone knew anyone who's had it etc. I'm Not looking to cause a big debate or argument or start any sort of conspiracy theory. Just answer your honest answer and if you want to comment do so. But please respect everyone's opinions, thoughts and views.

Uncle has had it and had mild flu like symptoms but as far as I’m aware is now okay. Auntie has had it and had no symptoms. You just don’t know with it. Currently awaiting my swab results as I work in an area that had 2 confirmed cases. I’ve hadno symptoms so far.

Niece and her partner have it, both fit 40 year olds...started with no symptoms but are now coughing, feeling tight chested and fatigued, but they've said it's hit them more like a really severe cold than anything else

I could tick all options other than the top one.

I know people my age (30) who fortunately have had very mild symptoms. I also know people who were entirely asymptomatic and tested positive.
Then I know others, around the 55-60 age mark, who had it and had a horrible time of it, some with lasting effects.
Then I know of friend's grandparents who have sadly died from Covid. My partner's grandad also had it and got through it, as did a colleagues' grandad.

All these were confirmed by positive tests btw, not assumptions.

Know 5 people who have had it. Some didn’t even know they had it until a test told them so. Others it was like a mild cold.

These were all in the 25-35 age range.

I am also insulating at the moment, but due to the cold weather rather than covid.

All 3 of us had it in our household, for me just a bad cough and feeling knackered for a few weeks, wife of  breathing probs and fever for a few days and feeling knackerd for a few weeks, Son Of  effectively laid up in bed for a week serious breathing issues and fever, and on verge of us taking him to A & E, and knackered for months afterwards. Not a nice thing and these people who don't try and protect us/themselves need throwing off a cliff.

I think if we could get it and basically guarantee just a mild cold type symptoms then we would all be quite happy to have it, and even accept the “ herd immunity” . But the problem is nobody knows how they will react to it plus if they could pass it onto someone more vulnerable, so as thing are I’m quite happy to keep my distance and avoid the fun things in life, pub, Blundell Park and meeting family and friends.

One of my doctors thought I might have it with the symptoms I had but it was too late for a test.He told me to isolate and report back to him.
When I reported.back he was off and the next doctor did not think I had it but got me to have a blood test.

When the blood test came back my diabetes was high so the doctor thought it was that.I asked if I had any antibodies to say I had had covid she said sorry I did not check for that.

There are ten symptoms of covid and if you have three or more it's a good chance you have it.a

Here are my five see what you think did I have it or was.it just because my diabetes was high . Covid does effect your diabetes if you suffer with it as I do.

Cough yes

Short of breath yes

Fatigue  yes very much so.

Temperature  yes

The runs  .     Hell yes .

My son was sent home from work with symptoms. As a precaution all four of us were tested. I was the only one who was positive, so I am now isolating in the back bedroom. It's been 10 days now and so far I haven't had so much as a cough.  If it wasn't for my son getting a cold, I wouldn't have been tested and would have been walking around infecting everyone.

I am (so far!) one of the lucky ones that don't have any symptoms but I am well aware that I could have spread it to more vulnerable people I know who could die from it.

Well done and thank you that man.

If only everyone, positive test or just notified of contact through test and trace, was as responsible as you pub landlords wouldn't be crying into their beer, people wouldn't be stockpiling bog rolls and no one would be wailing whinging and bleating about Christmas like it's the be all and end all

Thanks again, lets hope more follow your lead

My aunt had the antibody test earlier this year and was positive. She works with my wife in an enclosed space but was the only one out of a large group that tested positive.

Thank you for your kind words Ipswin. I am getting another test on Monday, if I am clear I can get the last night in the pub before lockdown!

I should have added I only spoke to the doctors over the phone and they both gave me my diagnosis without seeing me.

And you’ve earned that trip to the pub.

What’s clear from this little sample of the population is that this thing is serious and anyone who plays it down does not understand the facts.

During the flu pandemic 2009 - 2010 I was seconded to Liverpool to work on making flu vaccine. We were given lectures on viruses from experts in the field which has given an insight into them. They are evil little illegitimates, that can outwit the very best man can do. We can only control them but we will never eradicate them completely.

PLEASE DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THEM OR TAKE THEM LIGHTLY.

They kill and as in my case, it's the luck of the draw.

Good work Sir 👏👏👏

One of my colleagues contracted it and then got double pneumonia, he beat the COVID but the toll it took on his body was too much and he died of a heat attack a couple of days before he was due to leave hospital, he was just coming up to being 40.

People need to follow the rules that’s.

Non football this BTW.

My mum is 89 and has already died from it although she is still alive.
Her doctor told me the care home has cases, they cannot enter and have to fill in a death certificate over the phone.
He then realised what he said, blustered, tried to back track but all recorded.
Take that how you want, I know my views on this bullshit.

So 20 people have ticked they know people that have died from it?

Sorry i dont believe that figure. a few yes but not such a high percentage f the vote.

I know of 17 people mainly at work but also a few neighbors that tested positive. none seriously ill at all as yet.
A fair few of them with no symptoms at all and only got tested as partners ect had positive tests.

One was tested as he had to to play footy for a team, he came back positive. his wife and kids all had test and all came back negative which is odd.
