Great news today that my book Mendelevski's Box won the bronze medal in the Historical Fiction event/era section of the prestigious Readers Favourite competition in the USA. I was hoping for a place in the final but to win the bronze medal beating a number of well established authors from all over the world was beyond my wildest dreams, can't believe it. Its set in May1940 and starts with the occupation of the Netherlands and how it affected the fishermen of Urk. Now you've virtually read it all already!
