Google suggests premier league clubs get about 7-10% of each sale. Dunno if it’s the same in the lower leagues.

I'll be getting the salmon coloured one, surprised Young's didn't use it to market one of their salmon products like they did with the mariner's pie yellow shirt back then.

Even at 10% this gives you an indication of just how many units they shift when they can cover the cost of big signings with shirt sales...

Unless you’re in  the big 4 I’d guess that shirt sales don’t really do much in terms of income compared to tv money .

Thanks. I found those figures too. Hoped we got more. Really surprising how small a proportion the club get. Almost think the club (well ours at least) could make more money by not selling shirts, so fans spend the money on items with a better margin.

The club will make more from my 2 entries on the name card than from me spending £43 quid on a shirt.

Having seen folk wearing the shirt it looks even worse.

The less said about the blue the better, but the home shirt definitely looks like a training top rather than a match shirt.

Im not keen on the neck of the home and away strips but will still buy a home shirt for wearing on match days.
