What did you do today ?

My god this is getting boring now.

Apart from the cooking and the cleaning every day,

I have decided to cut the grass on different days now instead of doing the front and back on the same day,

I have cut my hedge but can not finish it off as my step ladders are 10 miles away at my granddaughters

I will have to clean the windows yet again.

Fed up of beating the wife at backgammon and she is fed up of losing.

Please tell us if anybody has done anything exciting.

PS. I have watch loads of football from years back that I have recorded.

My tired brain stopped at the first phrase here and I thought the tension must be REALLY getting to Pete

“Fed up of beating the wife at backgammon and she is fed up of losing.”

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I did read the news yesterday and domestic violence is up by 50% during lock-down, so no laughing matter Kingston. The nuclear families must be suffering in their bunkers.

I found going to Blundell Park each week, taking part in tribal chants and the occasional but justified shouting at the officials helped me escape from the dull cycles of normality and let off some steam. Maybe the lack of football is a factor in the rise in domestic beatings, not just parlour games....

Unfortunately I’m not as productive as Pete around the home but have started to go jogging 🏃 to keep sane and healthy during the lock-down.

I don’t mean to make light of a serious issue Barton.
