Good luck with the french
At least the letters look the same, I am learning Greek they have some similar letters with completely different sounds, bought a place there near the Aegean, done it up and waiting to enjoy it, looks like it will be a while yet
I remember learning games off my dad, darts and dominoes, chess and draughts, lots of card games, cribbage and solo, whist and rummy.
Went for a walk to pick a prescription for the mrs here in Notth London and was surprised how busy it was
It’s a stressful time but keep safe and make the most of it and enjoy the time with the kids

Blimey, we should start Language Corner on the other board. I’ve been making an on off attempt at Finnish for the last 17 years. Same letters as us, bar a few with accents, but my god  the grammar is COMPLETELY different. My ambition is to get to the standard of the funny foreigner who works in the ciggie kiosk who the kids ask questions just to hear the silly way he speaks.

“What time is it mister?”
“Today it is elevens o’clock. Buying anything want you to does?’

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

No surprise the lockdown will continue for at least another 3 weeks then.

Just finished watching "Sunderland Til I Die" on Netflix, really good enjoyed that.

Started watching "Happy Valley" last night, looks promising.

Is it really Saturday....weird.

EDIT

Might give the live darts a try tonight if I can work out how to get it

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”
