George Best LA Airport 1992.
He'd had a few and was the last Ist Class passenger in the immigration queue, we were behind him as the first of the mid-class dossers so we had a chat and he signed an autograph for Swin Jnr - lovely fella - so sad.

Your story reminded me that I met Aidan Davison at Orlando airport while he was still a town player. Both of us coming back from holiday. Nice guy, happy to have a chat and seemed like a lovely family as well.

Not as impressive as George Best though Swin!!

At a Doctor Who convention in September 2000 I was in a lift with two friends I went with & Elizabeth Sladen walked into the lift with her daughter. I was too starstruck to say hello though. Sadly I'll never get the chance again.

Bruce Dyer in Lincoln.Had a brief chat with him.Got to admire how he turned his life around from one of debauchery to one of clean living and now is a pastor in a church helping others in prisons and the like stay away from crime using Jesus's message.

Would have loved to have met him.On his day a very decent fighter but sad to read in between fights drunk to much and was one of the reason he had to retire at only 33.
