Just for once he was good today. I forgot it was him for most of the game.

To be fair though both teams played in the right spirit of the game and didn't give him any opportunity to fcuk it up.

I thought the ref had a good game today. Looked like the players had been warned about his card hand.

Cant believe this but hes the best ref ive seen this season

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Kettle did well today, praise where it is due...but, what I want to know is whether the ball was over the line in the second half goal mouth scramble...it certainly looked like it from where I was sat in the pontoon and will be disappointed by the linesman and kettle if they've missed it .

Credit where credit's due.

On today's display, one of the best refs we've had this season.

Amazing what happens when you let the players get on with it and only blow the whistle for full contact fouls.

Didn't even notice the ref apart from an early throw in where neither he nor the linesman knew which way to give it. Definitely one of the best refs we've had all season

Didn't look it to me, but I thought it hit their player's arm

Just watched the highlights, it hits the post but I'm sure the defender flicks it back to the keeper with his hand...blatant but could understand that getting that missed in the melee
