Can't read that as I don't have Times subscription. I remember him speaking out about his depression the season Accrington went up though and I'd noticed he wasn't playing this season, but I figured he had a physical injury. Hopefully he gets better, must have been a tough choice to make.

Ahh, sorry about that. Perhaps it can be read in future days online.
Stanley gave him an emotional send off last week and retired his no. 29 shirt. He did not enjoy the pressures to be an athlete , time away from family and worried about fans forum comments amongst many things which gave him sleepless nights. He had considered taking his life last summer.
Working with his dad on building sites from 6.00 till 5.00 and having a beer and kebab with his mates was far better for his mental health and family life.
Once again, Stanley come across as a caring club. BTW beer is £1 a pint for an hour after a home win!

Yeah, hopefully. I'll keep an eye on it, I do enjoy Robertson's articles more often than not. Cheers for the summary too.

thats great but it would take me at least a couple of hours to get over there from BP and at least £30 in juice so i'm out.
