How on earth are they below us -they are far superior in just about every department. We don't know how to centre a ball

We are playing the easy ball badly How we are winning is a miracle

Have faith

Good talking to at half time will remind the boys that the match lasts 45 mins.

Otherwise could be a long 3 months

I reckon the ambulance must have been for Hessenthaler. My guess is collarbone. I didn't think it was a particularly malicious challenge but it was dangerous play. He could easily have minimised the impact and the referee was a coward for not booking him at the very least.

Other than the goal, have to say we've been pretty poor tonight. They've pressed us and we haven't dealt with it. Good, accurate kicking from their keeper and a well-worked long throw has proved enough to cause our defence problems. Luckily they've not made anything of the chances which have come their way.

With their height advantage across the pitch, we need to either play into feet or put it over the top into corners. I'd be happy with a slightly streaky win, but it would be nice to put them away despite the adversity of losing a player in the first few seconds.

Poor first half overall, but agree that Benson has looked quite classy

I thought we just edged it but I know nothing.

Teams have a tendency to sit back when they are winning.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

There are good refs and bad refs, and apparently the absolute weak gutless idiot we have tonight.
