I'm wanting to give the teenagers a proper terrace experience but not excited by the drive to Crawley, which other grounds in our league have terracing at the away end?

Don't think there are any amongst the away fixtures we have left.

Bradford away won't have terraces but I can imagine there will be a good few thousand town, if not four, so that should be fun 👌

Remaining away fixtures and the usually allocated away areas:

Bradford - Large seated stand along the side of the pitch
Colchester - Crap new build stand behind the goal
Swindon - Has an open terraced end, but they normally stick away supporters in the seated stand adjacent to it
Plymouth - Seated stand behind the goal
Scunthorpe - Seated stand behind the goal
Cheltenham - Seated stand behind the goal
Newport - Has an open terraced end which we got to use when we played them in the playoff semis, but they normally stick away supporters in the seated stand adjacent to it
Port Vale - Seated stand behind the goal
Crewe - Seated stand along the side of the pitch

You're not gonna get a traditional terrace between now and the end of the season so I'd probably just go to Bradford, Scunny or Port Vale for the most authentic 'away day' experience.

Bradford will open up behind the goal of there's enough interest, which there will be. Port Vale probably your next best bet as not too far so plenty of Town presuming we all still on a high, good acoustics too. Scunny will be mad of course but you may struggle for tickets if not a STH. 👍

Quality feedback.  I'm liking the Mariners family at the mo.

Pretty much any away day gonna be rocking at the minute with the Ollie bounce, obviously the likes of Newport for the extreme hardcore, not one I'd fancy nowadays, though there was once a time 😅

What are people's thoughts on Bradford away? It just reminds me of crap games in that boring period before we went down to the Conference, bleak walks from the train station past hardly any pubs and being miles away from the pitch.

Me and son of will be staying overnight in Leeds and shall be attempting the 'Otley Run' apparently !!!!!!

Though why anyone wants to go jogging after a footy match is beyond me.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Agreed. Just a shame that the atmosphere was so toxic that afternoon.

Lived in Leeds for 8 years, so done the Otley Run plenty of times. You'll have a great time. Are you planning on doing it after the match, though?!

Yup.  I think attempting it before the match could end is disaster

Haha, true. However, if you're planning on having a few beers at the match too you're gonna be absolutely battered by the end of it!

Cheers everyone, pretty much as I thought. We did Chesterfield, Mansfield and Palace last season. Mansfield and Chelsea so far this. Bradford and Scunny penciled in. Starting to get expensive...
