Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere yet but here's a link to IH BBC interview on the upcoming fixture, new signings and outgoings. I don't normally listen managers as they tend to do interviews by numbers. This guy though is definitely entertaining. One quote "He's a scouser... so mind your cars"

Excellent interview as always and I think he will be great for bringing on and blooding the youngsters as it sounds like he really rates a few of them but I wonder what he meant when he said he'd had a word with the players about Ogbu

I took that comment as the players and squad have a responsibility to help a player settle in and feel supported and maybe they hadn't done so.

Only a small thing I suppose but it's about the levels and standards he sets and expects of everyone. not just on the pitch, but in training, the training ground, the mentality and support within the squad. It all helps build unity and a togetherness

I'm surprised he's got away with telling a Black footballer to go back to Africa. I thought that sort of thing was frowned upon these days.

Yes he said he told the rest of the player's off for that making a more concerted effort to help him integrate and feel at home. Truth be told there was probably an undertone of animosity at him being such a high earner, just as Ring couldn't settle and probably wasn't made to feel welcome also.

Ollie will snuff out any bad vibes and won't stand for such division.

I translated that as they perhaps didn't pick up that he was struggling and made him feel more welcome

Wow that interview illustrates what a great motivator IH is - so much insight in what needs to be done here in such a short time. We may loose tomorrow, but the future is bright - I am rejuvenated. What a fantastic nut this guy is!

His interviews have been more entertaining than the first half of the season. To go from pulling on the heart strings talking about Ogbu to making you laugh about the Liverpool lad is just brilliant. UTMM
