Can someone confirm that the Aalst boys will be over for the Orient game?

I’d like to think Town away fans are fairly vocal and passionate when watching our team but the Aalst boys are on another level, anyone who hasn’t been to a town game with the Aalst supporters you are in for a treat! Absolute nutters

Are we any closer to getting promoted since Hurst has been here? No

Has he been given time to achieve promotion by the chairman and fans? Yes

Hurst out

I haven’t got a clue what you mean, who are the Aalst supporters ?

They support Aalst.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Belgian club who wear black and white and adopted us as their 2nd team. Top division-sized club who have been languishing down the leagues for a while. By all accounts, a great set of people.

Yes they’ll be there in force. They bought 93 tickets when the initial allocation was released.

Came across them at Barnet a few years ago; they’re a noisy but friendly bunch.

That sounds brilliant.  A friend of mine is an oldham fan and they twinned up with eintracht frankfurt.  Great idea....get to see stadiums and football culture you are not normally exposed to

Really looking forward to Saturday...

Had the pleasure of the Aalst boys at Crystal Palace...think my ears are still ringing from the din they made, cracking bunch who can only add to the atmosphere on Saturday if they make it...

93! It's growing. Usually there's one coach load.

Last time at Orient they were well on form and helped with the atmosphere. At Dover once they created what atmosphere there was. It was amazing they could stand up as they had to push each other up the hill from the pub there were that drunk.

93?!! Bigger than some League 2 away followings! Quite incredible. What an effort that would be. And yet we never reciprocate, and our club never seem to acknowledge that there is an unofficial link with them.

I think we do reciprocate but it went off last time didn’t it?

I know a fair few of ours go over there once or twice a season.

To be fair, I know fans of several clubs who go abroad at points in a season to watch teams, myself included, I think it’s become something folk do now with cheap flights and tickets being much cheaper abroad...i paid £9 for my play off final ticket for Hellas verona.

Always good to experience different culture etc.

For the Aalst lads the southern games are easy to get to via coach etc.

I went to Aalst a few years back and met up with Tom and some of his mates. Really good lads and a great day out. I must try and find my Aalst scarf ready for Saturday.

As Aldi says it's easy enough to get flights and tickets, £25 return to get to Bremen for a game later this month. Same day as Crawley away so it's not costing me any more to go to Germany than it would to go to Sussex!

Genoa derby last season...had I gone on my own for the match and come back it would’ve been £145 (stayed longer and made a weekend of it) including match ticket...Verona play off win, £150, flights, ticket, beer, hotel...a no brainer really.

Aye, me and a few mates went to see Sampdoria in April last year. Return flights to Genoa we’re 30 quid!

Flight, match ticket and 3 nights in an Airbnb was just under 100 quid each.

Samp is a great away day and the ground is ace. Got a twinning with Hellas so know a few lads. The derby is well worth a visit and Genoa isn’t a bad place to visit either...plenty of good bars
