Yes you get that at all manner of live events now, I was reading about an exhibition of the early rave scene on at the moment - it mentioned everyone was in the moment not a device in sight, whereas go to an event now and there's just a load of people at the front with their phones up in the air. The same at large live bands too now I'm sure.

Mainly because in those days your phones didn't have cameras in them, they were too heavy to keep held up for long and people would nick them if given half a chance and they weren't as traceable.  Besides most of them were off their mammaries.  Which is where this little fellah came in   Aciiiieeed!

Watched a documentary about Tiger Woods and he commented that nobody claps anymore when he plays a good shot because they’ve all got a phone in their hands taking a vldeo (is that the right word)
