If somebody turns you down two or three times, it's probably a good indication that they don't really want to join you.

Best thing to do would be to look elsewhere.

Truth be told, I'd be surprised if we were looking to sign another striker given that we already have 6 on the books (if you include Cook and Ogbu as strikers).

Having said that I don't want Angol but if Olly does that's ok with me.

    Grimsby are being linked with some good players Ross Wallace and Tom Adeyemi amongst them...........oh for the ambition.

Plus new experienced manager. Now that’s how you do thing’s properly. Expect Grimsby to now overtake us.

I like the "Now that’s how you do thing’s properly" comment .

Let's hope he's/she's right about overtaking them... not sure about the players though!

My comment was more about when we do go in for players our chance of getting them must be much higher now.
