We have won every game this year and decade.

We have not conceded this year or in this decade.

We have a new manager today. Who has invested in the club.

The manager has a good track-record in developing players,

He already knows where the Trust bar is.

The gate was up a 1,000 yesterday on the last home game,

The transfer window is open.

We are making a step in the right direction in getting new owners and a new ground.

Apart from that, nothing has changed. 🙂

It is certainly a fantastically positive start to the decade. You sometimes wonder if things are written in the stars. How many managers are appointed on New Years Eve at the very start of the decade when the previous decade was so poor?

It all feels a tad surreal, but I am hoping like the rest of us that this decade will bring fantastic times almost as a reward for our loyalty over all these years. I am getting quite misty eyed at the thought.

On a more realistic note, the new manager has got his work cut out; I think he will make more or less an immediate impact on our playing style, but I am praying that the noises made about the new stadium come to fruition to really set us on our way.

Like others have said this is the best thing to have happened other than an actual takeover, and I hope Mr Fenty grabs this opportunity with both hands and gives Ollie the help he needs on budget, the marketing and the improvements he wants till the new stadium is delivered.

I hope the public will come on board, as it is they who will make such a difference. If over the next few months we can increase the crowds to 5,500, then 6,000 and people get into the habit of going then that will fuel further investment so we might get on a roll longer term.

I have been a vehement critic of Mr Fenty, but he now has a chance to accept the gift that he has helped bring about. If because of the new manager and his profile we get offers of investment then allow them to share the load, and let them use their areas of expertise to move us forwards.

None of us expected these developments. IH seems determined to drag the club up and leave a legacy and that feels absolutely brilliant.

If we can win Saturday then we'll see even more of a boost.
